a wine experience you won't find anywhere else

GREENWAY Wines a family owned and operated boutique vineyard nestled against Wollombi Brook and the Brokenback Ranges in Broke Fordwich - a region of the magnificent Hunter Valley.

Our vineyard grows great Fiano, Pinot Grigio, Rosé, Traminer, Merlot and a little Shiraz. GREENWAY Wines are made from 100% estate grown fruit, nurtured using sustainable farming practices. Passionate and dedicated to the making of great wine, we only bottle when the vintage is at its best, producing limited releases, approximately 500 cases per year.

And as you won't find our wines in bottle shops or restaurants - GREENWAY is definitely worth the adventure into the vineyards of the Hunter Valley! Greenway Wines 2016 'Blush' Rose

What would you get if you crossed a tangelo, strawberries, a grapevine and a pomegranate? And then made a rosé wine with the fruit?... a tangy berry great poem with alcohol? No, you’d have a Greenway Blush...

A fantasy maybe, but this is where this wine seems to come from. ...A wondrous mix of exotic and more home-grown fruity flavours, zapped into life with Tahitian lime acidity, finishing with the merest hint of butterscotch. Refreshing in its dryness and revitalising in its uplifting length, this is the required tonic on a summer’s afternoon served icy with sushi or sashimi, pork crackles or crisps, or as an accompaniment to a light sea breeze...


Food Pairing

Hot smoked trout with ricotta, mint peas and citrus vinaigrette

paired with GREENWAY Pinot Grigio


This dish is all about balance: the smokiness of the fish, with both the creamy ricotta and a zing from the sweet and salty vinaigrette. We served this at our first Bruncheon by the Brook and it was a smash!

It’s a beautiful and delicate dish that is magic paired with GREENWAY Pinot Grigio.

It's a GOLD for GREENWAY the architect Shiraz!

The 2014 vintage was outrageously fantastic for Hunter Valley reds and this wine is living proof that the Broke-Fordwich region shared in that year's wealth of wonders, The first two things that grab you about this wine are its classiness and depth - larger than the average, but also elegant. It has fine tannins, direct down the middle, uncompromising acid and hanging from that framework is voluminous flavour, structure and body. We think your wine cellar needs a few -so if you have the capacity to cellar your wines - do it now!
